Do my customers pay me or EventRentalOS?+

You. You connect your own Stripe account during onboarding and every rental payment, deposit, and refund settles directly to your business. Our subscription is billed separately.

How does availability actually work?+

Every product tracks real inventory (including purchase batches). When a customer picks dates, we subtract confirmed reservations, active quote holds, items awaiting cleaning, and damaged stock — plus your turnaround buffers. If 40 chairs are already out on July 12th, they can't be booked twice.

Can I use my own domain?+

Yes. Every site gets yourbusiness.eventrentalos.com out of the box, and Pro plans can connect a custom domain by adding two DNS records at their registrar.

What about delivery?+

Version one is built for pickup-only businesses — configurable pickup and return windows, blackout dates, and lead times. Delivery, routing, and driver workflows are on the roadmap.

Do you support security deposits and damage charges?+

Yes — refundable card authorization holds, cash deposits, partial captures for damage with photo-backed damage reports, and card-on-file for follow-up charges.
