Terms of Service

EventRentalOS is operating software for event rental businesses. It provides, among other things, a booking website, inventory and availability management, quotes and orders, customer records, payment collection, notifications, and fulfillment tools. Rental businesses that create a workspace on the platform are “Operators”; the people who browse an Operator’s storefront or rent from an Operator are that Operator’s customers, not ours.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your workspace, including the roles and permissions you assign them. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed monthly at the price disclosed when you select the plan and on the Billing page of your dashboard. Every plan starts with a free first month; the exact end date of your free month is shown before you create your workspace and on your Billing page. No payment method is collected at signup and nothing is charged automatically — to continue on a paid plan after the free month you must add billing details. You can downgrade or cancel at any time from Billing; downgrading may reduce available features as described in the plan comparison.

We may change plan pricing or included features with at least 30 days’ notice, effective at your next renewal.

You retain all rights to the content and data you and your customers submit to the Service — catalog items, photos, orders, customer records, documents, and site content (“Operator Content”). You grant us the license needed to host, display, transmit, and back up Operator Content in order to run the Service, including publishing the storefront pages you choose to publish. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for complying with laws that apply to your customer data.

Payment processing for Operator storefronts is provided by third-party processors (currently Stripe) under their own terms. EventRentalOS is not a party to rental agreements between Operators and their customers, does not hold funds, and is not responsible for rental disputes, damage claims, refunds, or deposits between an Operator and its customers.

If your plan includes email or SMS notifications, you may only send messages to recipients who have consented to receive them, and you must honor opt-outs. Text messaging is subject to carrier registration and compliance requirements; you agree to provide accurate registration information and to use messaging only for the transactional purposes it is enabled for.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or infringing;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or access it by automated means other than documented APIs;
• misrepresent your identity or your business, or send spam from the platform;
• upload malicious code or content you don’t have the right to use;
• resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement.

We work to keep the Service available and performant, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime level. We may modify features over time; if we discontinue a material feature your plan depends on, we will provide reasonable notice.

The Service, including its software, design, templates, and branding, is owned by EventRentalOS and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our branding or to use the Service outside of the rights expressly granted.

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, non-payment after notice, or where required to protect the Service, other customers, or the public. After termination we will make your Operator Content available for export for a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to remove it.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventRentalOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify account owners by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The current version is always available at this page’s address.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which EventRentalOS is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
